Foreword

How the Spitsbergen reports were created

The so-called Spitsbergen reports were created during my one-year studies of geophysics in Spitsbergen, or "Svalbard" how the Norwegians prefer to say. In the beginning they we're just a collection of pictures, but after some time they became more popular so that it seemed reasonable to put some more effort into them. In the end there were eleven reports.

Now this chapter is closed.
May the reports serve to keep those adventures alive and to hinder their transformation into unreal myths.

Enjoy yourself with the reports.
