zur deutschen Version Spitsbergen Report No. 4November 17th 2001Snow and birthdayA lot of time has passed and everything increased a lot, especially the shortness of the days and serotonin deficiency. Therefore a lot of pictures with people. 
Although we're so far in the north you still have birthday. 
This is what my kitchen looks like from the other end during a birthday party. The white cellulose around my neck is tibetian praying scarf, Kada. My tibetian neighbour Pu Dopwang (powerful Thursday) gave it to me that it may be a source of luck and peace in the soul. Peacefully falling snowflakes and -10 degrees Celsius also reminded of the christian chrismas. 
The university. I go there almost every day, meaning every 24 hours. 
Every student has his/her own studying table, with the fjord in sight. 
The most abundant motive p�hele Svalbard (with Danish and French). 
Viva Italia!!! 
Leisure on Sunday: The glacier channel. Larsbreen offers great opportunities to the outdoor freak. By now you also need to be head light fan. 
Gipfelglück (impossible to translate, near "summit pleasure"). Jon from Sweden and me celebrate ourselves as subduers of Trollsteinen. 
The country is wide. 
On the summit of Nordenskildtoppen: atmospheric icing for "connoisseurs" 
True heroes are lonesome. True 
The railway station is near the chamber of handicraft. 
The shadows become longer.
